July 4th

Over July 4th we went Nana's house with the whole family. It was a quick, but wonderful weekend. Nana took everyone to the club on Friday night (except Matt and I since we arrived late). Payton was excited about her pizza she got to create herself and that she got to sit by Uncle Cameron.


To say the least Payton is smitten with Uncle Cameron. At times I feel sorry for him because I know he must get exhausted from his attention being demanded at all times by a silly 3 year old. He and Jill are so patient with both the girls and even let Payton be there bed buddy the first night. We spent Saturday on the water. Payton and Claire got their first chance to ride the Big Bertha inner tube. Both of our girls love the water and the boat so it was a great day.

After grilling out we went back out on the boat with dessert to see the fireworks at the Vineyard. It was a beautiful night and we were all proud of Jonathan for keeping us safe on the boat, thanks daddy.

Sunday we made pickles with Matt and Kiki. Payton made the labels and helped Matt fill the jars. Afterwards we went to see Nana's horse Sugar at the Equestrian center (not really her horse but the girls thing so)and to lunch at the Lake House before naps and our trip back home. It was a nice weekend being with family, we wished it had only be longer.
